I wrote about Aliens: Colonial Marines
here. It sucks, but I am glad I played it anyway.
In anticipation on DDP Saidaioujou arriving soon, I threw in DDP Resurrection and managed to knock the rust off with a 1cc through novice mode (Type A/Strong). I didn't get a great score, but still was happy to take it down with some stock in reserve. This game has probably become my all time favorite shmup.

You inspired me to play this and...wow, I beat the computer handily every time.

In fact, I decided to go for the challenge of a KO, which I got on my third try. Protip: don't stay in the corner and time your up down movement with your button presses.
In any case, I hope you watched the awesome promo video you unlocked for beating it. It is pretty fucking sweet.
