For me it varies but here is the breakdown...
Vodka - Svedka or Skyy (Ketel One if my wallet is fat)
Gin - Bombay Original Dry (not sapphire) or Beefeater (Hendricks if my wallet is fat)
Rum - Not picky anything from Whaler's or Cruzan to Pyrat does the trick.
Tequila - Don Julio Blanco sometimes Patron silver (No cheap tequila EVER)
Bourbon - Evan Williams, Southern Comfort, WT American Honey
Beer - Sierra Nevada, SweetWater, anything else I can find that is good and hoppy.
Bottom of the barrel: (I'm broke)
Vodka - Denaka
Gin - New Amsterdam
Rum - Whaler's
Tequila - none.
Bourbon - Evan Williams is still affordable
Beer - Yuengling
In the cabinet right now:
Vodka - Svedka
Gin - Beefeater and Bombay
Bourbon(ish) - WT American Honey
Bourbon - Evan Williams
Rum - Cruzan light
Tequila - none
Beer - Sweetwater 420 and IPA

Wine: I live in an area with a LOT of local wineries so...
2 Bottles of '3 dudes and a dog' table red
1 Bottle of '3 dudes' chardonnay
1 bottle of Bella Vista Ranch cab
Half empty cask of Franzia crisp white - for more 'recreational' wine drinking
Liquor:
Cheap tequila for margaritas
Level 5 Vodka
And, of course, there's usually beer in the fridge.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

First I've heard of that. It sounds good. Does it have a lot of pineapple flavor?Para wrote: And three bottles of Pineapple Wine

Ugh, I recently quit drinking. So now O'doul's, it helps satisfy the having a bottle of something in my hand fixation. I used to love my beer, especially any hefeweizen. My favorite is Franziskaner (sp?) if the money was there. If not, I would go blue moon or UFO - I was obsessed with the raspberry UFO for months. Now I can't believe I ever used to drink that stuff. When we were really broke it was Lionshead. $15 for a case of bottles.
Liquor was always tequila although I used to like gin and tonics as well. Gin I always had to be careful with because it made me emotionally drunk. Not aggressive, but like, "I love you man" style.

Cabernet for the big delicious dinners. Kahlua with milk for late night sessions.
Thanks for reminding me, I was thirsty right now,

I like seeing the Sweetwater! I have mostly craft beer such as Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, Avery, Victory, Lagunitas, Flying Dog, North Coast, Columbus Brewing Company... Etc. I also really like Bourbon and Rum. Right now I have a bottle of Booker's Bourbon (126 proof) and a bottle of McDowell's Celebration Rum (from India!) and I love it!

Re: What is in your bar?
I'm not much of a drinker or a connoisseur. Most of the things I have are for mixing into other things and I have been given several bottles of liqueur by my parents. I don't like beer or 'real' wine, but here's what I've got lying around.
Godiva white chocolate liqueur
Vandermint chocolate mint liqueur
French Vanilla Kahlua
Bailey's
Amarula
Barenjager honey liqueur
Manashewitz blackberry wine
Real Sangaria
Raspberry Smirnoff

Re: What is in your bar?
A better question would be what isn't in my bar.
I am a firm believer in being well stocked for whatever situation might arise, so I keep a fairly full bar with a healthy mixture of top shelf and middle of the road liquors. I am partial to single malts myself, but the damn things are expensive and I tend to drink them all up fast!
As for beer, right now I have some leftover Sam Adams Octoberfest, some Budweiser for my father in law, some Miller Lite, and 2/3 of a case of DogFish Head 90 Minute IPA
. We have plenty of wine around too, but that's my wife's department (she has excellent taste) and I couldn't tell you what we have.
