Interesting:

NEW GBA SP features:1. Foldable style.

2. The screen size and hardware are virtually identical to the current Game Boy Advance system.

3. Compatible with Nokia battery DL 6C.

4. Internal memory: 2GB.

5. When it's opened, gamers are in for a treat -- the screen can display up to 32,000 colors, and has a backlit screen for comfortable game viewing.

6. Games are backwards-compatible -- your Game Boy Advance games will play just fine on the GBA SP.

Colors: red, black, blue, silver, pink, ice blue

They don't run GBA games at full speed, it seems.

GBA games are totally weird. I've noticed a lot of emulation on consoles need tweaks due to slowdown. It doesn't surprise me that the first gba clone didn't get it right.

Dunno why you'd get that when you could get a Dingoo for $20 more.

If it has seperate link cable and power ports it would be useful for the link games. I am going to guess that it doesnt have the link port though.

I played mother 3 on one of these, ran okay format the memory back to FAT (it's FAT32 as is) I'm talking about a flash cart here, the games on this system can't be swapped.

the built ins are all slower

How is GBA Emulation on the Dingoo?? hear Neo Geo is flawless??

They need to make up their mind.

The new Game Boy Advance SP features a revolutionary Front Light Screen, making the game play easily in any lighting conditions

the screen can display up to 32,000 colors, and has a backlit screen for comfortable game viewing.

One of these things... is not like the other...

Can someone confirm that these systems can (or cannot) play original Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges? I can't seem to find a definitive answer or even a review. This system is pretty much useless to me if this is not possible.

Thanks in advance
