I'm working on a "Rarest and Most Valuable Sports Video Games" article and there are a number of ways this can be formatted.
Since I'm including all consoles, I'm leaning towards writing it by most valuable/rare title by Sport rather than by Most Valuable overall (mix of all sports) or by System (like all the rare NES sports titles).
How does that sound?

Sounds Good (if I read that right)!
"Rarest" and "Most Valuable" as separate headings, each grouped by sport right?
Given the genre, an "Oddballs & Loners" section as honorable mention might be good. For example, if there's a "Wii Senior Shuffleboard Party" game out there, it's likely to be a poorly represented sport sub-genre, but not necessarily super rare or valuable.
Then again, who knows...

Re: Layout advice for Collecting Guide
Rarest and Most Valuable is one heading as the two go hand in hand for the most part.
It would be broken down like:
Baseball:
World Series Major League Baseball - Intellivision
World Series Baseball starring Deion Sanders - 32x
Basketball:
etc, etc.
I need to figure out how to incorporate my friends in Europe and Japan also.

Re: Layout advice for Collecting Guide
Makes sense now that I think about it.
Among peers in this lowly appraised, peripheral genre "Most Valuable" needn't mean expensive (a refreshing change).
I can still imagine a few misfits making things difficult. Consider "Tecmo Super Bowl", a very common, but higher-valued sports title because of it's wider appeal and "cult following".
Could you just append (JP) or (EU) for the Japan & Europe releases, or were you thinking of sorting them differently?

Re: Layout advice for Collecting Guide
Thanks for the response. The JP or EU games would just be lumped in the same per sport.
There will definitely be a "Misc" type category to catch anything not covered.
