Wellp I started today and played for about a half and realized that I'm not as good as I thought I was at this game, when I was a kid I was addicted to the arcade. I think my top score ended up being 51,420 so I'm pretty rusty hopefully i'll be able to improve on that over the next month.

damn, Atari! Every night I've been playing, and I get to 50-something thousand, and I think "I'm gonna beat my 59,190" but then I get schooled. It's rough.

Haha, thanks. Not quite a master in terms of say, the Twin Galaxies forum...

I am respectably good on other arcade games though.


I know what you mean about things getting rougher.
Most of the time, I also get a score in the high-fifties to low-sixties range.
For instance, I just played again and only got to Stage 9 with a score of 61,150.
There's another jump in difficulty during Stage 12.

I need to read over the Wiki strategy guide thing to see if I may have any tips to add.
