Shmup event at Arcade Legacy, Cincinnati OH, Sat Jun 28. I went to the first one (dominated the Recca tourny!) and it's a blast.

With the success of our first Bullet Hell event last year, I am happy to announce it is back!

We will have stations with shmups from nearly ever console generation. From NES to the current stuff on XBOX360 and PC. We will also be running a few tournaments!

Here's all the details:
Saturday June 28th from NOON to 1am. Events will start later but you can come as early as you'd like to set up or enjoy the arcade.

You only need to pay the regular arcade entry of $10

*Tournaments:

All tournaments will be FREE to enter! There will be a prize for each winner.

Twinkle Star Sprites (vs mode) on arcade

The other tournament game will be announced soon.

1cc Mystery Game - The game will be revealed the day of the tournament.

We will have at least 9 stations dedicated to shmups the whole night plus we have a few arcade shmups that will be in the cabs. One station will be the giant projection screen!

I love Arcade Legacy and have been there for their fighting game events before, I highly encourage anyone in the regional area -that likes Shmups- to check this out! The arcade itself is well maintained and has a ton of jap cabs, as well as a ton of US standups.

1.5 hours is nothing Do yourself a favor and visit this place! They also have a used game section that always features interesting gems hidden throughout. It's just a plain awesome place to hang out.
