Is it possible to fix a non-working GB Game?

Today, I received a Game Boy Game in the mail from eBay called Kunio-Kun, and to my (irritated) surprise, it doesn't work. I cleaned the contacts, twice even, looked inside, and I can't find anything wrong with it, but it will not boot past the BIOS Screen on my GB Player or my GBA. So, is it possible to fix this, or what? I can post pictures if needed.
