@SpaceBooger how's the bourbon? Never heard of that one. I just had a few cold beers.

@Sarge, so Tink 2X recommended at ~$100?

@Marurun, ... our resident librarian got tea. Too cliche 8)

@Markie, feel better man. I was really sick Christmas 2017. Feel ya.

If you're not going all in on an OSSC and component/SCART for everything, yeah. Most cheaper converters are still $50, and usually do an awful job in either picture quality or input lag.

Now, I still couldn't take Tyson on my TV, but it's closer on the timing; the lag there is mostly from my set, not the Tink.

My brother got me this Pac-Man Ghost light...

The only other video game related things I got were some things I decided to treat myself to. I got a small bonus from work, and Stone Age Gamer had some Black Friday sales going on, so I picked up a couple of things. Even though I ordered on Black Friday, one item was a pre-order so the entire order didn't ship. Coincidentally, it shipped with perfect timing (including delays) to arrive on 12/24. So it worked out perfectly to be a pseudo Christmas gift from me to me. Anyway, here's what I got myself...

Super SD System 3
TurboGrafx-16 controller (Old Skool brand)
N64 (w/ controller ports) Retrode Adapter
GBx Retrode Adapter
Super Famicom controller (CirKa brand)
