Castlevania Remakes Coming To PSP

Yet another set of classic games is coming to the PSP — and this time it may be a very big deal. Two of the most popular games in the Castlevania frachise, the until-now-import-only Castlevania X: Rondo of Blood and series highpoint, Symphony of the Night are both being remade in the upcoming Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles.

Both games will receive a graphical upgrade (mainly Rondo of Blood), but the compilation will also include the original version of Dracula X: Rondo of Blood for all the Castlevania purists.

Even though the upgrades include some 3D wizardry, from this video it looks like Konami did an excellent job in keeping the old school feel.

Even with all its Castlevania goodness, the DS can’t help but be a little jealous at this announcement.Similar Posts From These Categories:

SotN isn’t receiving a graphical upgrade, unless you consider those borders that’ll inevitably be used to fill up the rest of the screen to be upgrades.

SotN may, however, receive some additions, but these shouldn’t be confused with the additions to the Saturn version, as IGA has stated that there are things that he wanted to add to the original game prior to its release, but didn’t have the time.
