Your favorite biomech/combat Suits?

Post by Veno »

Or at least that's what I think they're called. And not Samus's Zero Suit or Jill Valentine's battle suit from RE5. Those were like skin tight latex, I'm talking battle suits with armor on them.

You know, Gear's soldier suits, Halo's Spartan Suit, the Crysis 2 suit, and a whole bunch of other battle suits I didn't name.

My favorite happens to be Dead Space's RIG. It's got awesome gameplay integration, and there's a lot of variations of it, most of which also look awesome.

So what about you guys? You guys have gotta have some type of favorite battle suit.

Got give it the the badass suits in the Ratchet and Clanks games and the badass armors Mega Man X wears in his games, even though I far prefer Zero as a character

I also really like the concept of personal shielding in Mass Effect and Halo too, but I don't know what game originated that

Are we talking about armored suits now or mechs? Going by the last two responses

I don't mind, but I think it's because I put "Biomech". I've heard some people call battle suits, "Biomech Suits" before, that's why I included it, but whatevers.

Plus, I'm sure Magitek armor counts, since it's not really a big mech, its like a pair of walking legs and a pelvis.

Yeah, in game, they're actually called 'Magitec Armor'. They straddle the line, but I've seen many other games use similar devices and call them 'suits'.

If they don't count, then I'll go with the Big Daddy. I'm just a fan of the whole Steampunk aesthetic.

I've always considered Magitek armor as a suit, since it's not very big and people can walk with it like normal.

And the Big Daddy suits a nice call. Didn't expect that one.

I always liked the E-Frames from Exosquad. Exosquad had a game so it counts. :D
