Whoa whoa whoa nobody's talking about Mamotte Knight?

Post by PepsimanVsJoe »

This just might be the next indie classic. It's already in the runnings for my GOTY of 2010 and everyone that's played it likes the hell out of it. Still I look through all the forums I frequent and nobody's talking about it. Are they too busy playing it? Yeah that's it that's the case false alarm my bad disregard this etc etc.

Okay seriously it's like this. Mamotte (Protect Me) Knight is a tower defense game. That's probably it. Nobody is playing this game because it's tower defense. Okay well let's throw that out then. This game is princess defense. It's also kind of like a beatemup or even a puzzle game. You pick from four heroes and go through 10 stages filled with multiple waves of goblins and other mean things that are after your princess. The best defense is killing them en masse while racking up 100+ combos and winning the princess's love(points). It's got amazing chaotic action to it and all four heroes have unique abilities and special attacks. There's also support for up to four players but hey even if you're all by your lonesome this game is still gold.

It's got the retro-style straight out of a Famicom game(though the Famicom would never be able to push this many sprites without crapping the bed) and it's only $3 off the Xboxlive Indie Service.

BTW This game is from the makers of Beyond Oasis which is one of the best games of all time. You gotta check this one out.

This game looks fantastic. I want to buy it. Hopefully it's not a rental only.

This is the first I've heard of it, but thanks for bringing this game to my attention. It looks like what it would be like if we had tower defense games back on the NES. I'm interested.

I played it for a bit tonight and had a lot of fun with it. I think that its local multiplayer only, but it seems like it would be a lot more fun with a friend. I made it to the third stage with the zombies before I finally succumbed, but I feel like I could do much better once I get a hang of it. I will definitely be playing this game more!

If you think it looks fun, just get it! It's only 240 MS points, which is around $3.

Great Deal seeing as that's the price I pay for those Gameroom arcade games.
