Don't you just love it when someone lists a video game system on craigslist, you scroll down to see the details, then find something like this?

Hi. This is a Nintendo system. It comes with 5 games. Call me at XXX-XXXX.

Maybe we could apply this logic to other categories as well.

I've got these tools I need to get rid of! My uncle was a mechanic and he died lately. There's five tools. Email me at whatever@whatever.com.

Seen that sometimes on ebay too - sometimes you see listings with no useful description AND no pic!

More so then that I hate how it's impossible to find an original Xbox or oXbox games. You search original Xbox or oXbox in titles and you get 360's. Makes me so very angry.

This can be applied to any system that shares a name with its predicessor (ie. Playstation 2 vs 3 etc.)

eBay its not a problem, Craigslist it is.

You just don't know how to filter out the search results. Use this:

xbox -360 -xbox360

That will do a search for "xbox" but also remove any listings with "360" or "xbox360" in them.

20 bucks says the five games are the 5 contained within wii sports. There used to be tons (probably still are) of wii listings on ebay that came with 14 games (5 in wii sports + 9 in wii play = 14)

That's one of my pet peeves. A lot of people are so dumb that they can't give a basic description. For me the winner is, email me and I'll send you the list of games & pictures.

Why don't you save yourself aggravation by listing it in the ad in the first place? What a dumb-f*ck!

The other peeve is where someone list some sort of ad and put a boatload of keywords in it. When I see those ads, I flag it and will get onto my work remote session and flag it a few times there so it's removed. Those stupid dopes.

People like this piss me off, does anyone really go to CL to pay ebay prices? Let alone 20 - 40 dollar more then ebay. But this guy has posted these same games for a long time no one ever buys them.

The thing that bugs me about Craigslist is that there are sellers who are completely disconnected with reality. I just attempted to buy Zone of the Enders 2 off some guy for $25 (yeah, I know that's overpaying but I needed it quickly), and here's how it went down.


Me: I might be interested in buying Zone of the Enders, but I'm just unclear as to the ad itself. Is this the first game, or the second game of the series?

Him: Sorry for the confusion, its the FIRST Zone of the enders...and I do have the Metal Gear Solid Demo that comes with it. Its in great working condition and is backwards comp. with ps3.

Him: Hi do you still want the game?

Me: I think I'll pass. The second Zone of The Enders commands the kind of price you're asking. The first, however, does not. Good luck selling it at that price, dude.

Him: The 2nd zone of the enders im selling for 80, I have sold the 1st zone of the enders for $40 at least 6x`s already. Though your luck is welcome I dont need it If you change your mind you know where to find me.
