You can buy it for $169.95 at http://www.divineo.cn/cgi-bin/div-cn/ret-tcast or for $180.65 at http://superufo.com/product_html/SEGA_P ... mcast.html

I wonder if its worth the money, it looks like cheap plastic...

I'll be a dumbass and ask:

Are these repackaged, but essentailly refurbished Dreamcasts? Or are they manufacturing the boards, etc?

Do they use the standard Dreamcast video dongles, thus allowing the VGA boxes to function?

Regardless, I'm happy to see people -- in any form -- keeping the DC alive. I'm sure everyone has seen http://www.racketboy.com/retro/2006/11/triggerheart-exelica-yet-another-new.html?

Cheers

I dont think they manufacture the components, see it as a modded console.

The treamcast is basically a portable dreamcast with a hacked bios, allowing play of games from any region. I'd really like one myself, but I think it's waaay too expensive. I mean, It's basically a dreamcast with a screen. I can get a dreamcast for 20$, then mod myself a screen. Much cheaper alternative. It'd just look awful. Maybe if it was 100$, then people would be more up.

Well, there is pawn shops, used game stores, ebay and other online auctioning. Buy from a friend that only cares about new stuff.
