My game room is just about finished, dial up beware!!!

Post by corn619 »

Heres some pics of my almost complete new and improved game room. It took me about a month to get to this phase. At first I was going to go with a Okami theme, but it didn't fit the theme of the room. So I went with a industrial look and I'm glad I did. I'm debating if I should complete the look with a Silent Hill or Steel Battalion theme. I love both games, but I'm thinking Steel Battalion is going to win. I bought cool looking letter stencils and was planing on stenciling some Steel Battalion stuff like VT model and division #s on the wall. Silent Hill would be cool to with black veins coming out of various places in the room. Heres what my old room looked like. viewtopic.php?f=28&t=5755 Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

Dude? Very cool. Very, very cool. Also, points for owning the Silent Hill comic book.

I like the pattern on the wall. It fits the theme perfectly and looks great.

Love the way all the consoles stacks have lines -- sloping up to the 32X tower on the shelf and going from wide down to narrow on the rack. Also dig the alphabetical order and the walls. And the Steel Battallion controller mounted to the wall? Holy crap, dude.

Awesome dude. Can you believe I passed up Steel Batallion + the Controller for 40 bucks once?
I'm still not sure whether I'm a kid or a squid now.

Whoa! Slick room! I would totally pop that steel batallion logo on the box huge on the wall. If you are thinking of going the extra mile a metal door and some more industrial trim on the windows would look great.

Yeah, the curtains on the wall are going and are being replaced with diamond plate or steel. I'm going to put strips on the sides and top of the window and replacing the blinds with thick black ones in the near future.

Damn, looks great dude. A bit of stenciling on the walls would definitely be a nice finishing touch. Maybe even some red light bulbs for even more of a war room type look.
