picked up
for GC:
Viewtiful Joe (no manuel)
Soul Calibur II
and F Zero GX
all together they were $10 (they had a deal where if you bought three games that were under $8 you would get them for $10. Pretty good deal except Warioland and Mario Sunshine were both just over $8 )
and for PS2 I got Splinter Cell black label for only $3.
Not too shabby I'd say. $13 total for four above average games.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I've been seeing all of these great finds and I was inspired to walk all the way across town to my "local" thrift shop. I found a Gameboy in really good condition, just missing the screen protector and 3 GBC games for $11. I also went to my local Play-N-Trade and I bought Pokemon Yellow, Animaniacs, Catwoman, Monsters Inc, some Rugrats game, and Radar Mission for $17.
The cashier at the thrift store told me they get older systems and games all the time and to come by again on Monday when they have 25% off and have sorted and priced the stuff they got this week. I'm very excited.

Try Best Buy as they're trying to unload them too.

Dunno. I don't have desire or a use for a tablet PC. Just saw stories that they weren't selling, then that stores were offloading them. I can't seem to find where I read the new 'real low cheap' price the other day.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I'm really excited about my pick up today. I have a coworker who picks all summer and buys a lot of videogame items. He gave me first crack at his summer haul before putting them up on eBay.
My cost: I gave him 35.00 cash and a couple items in trade. The trade items were left in my garage when we bought my house. One is a 1960s city of Chicago parking meter made into a lamp and the other was an old sears oil can. Value o about 100.00 but were free to me!
What I got
SNES system box only
Atari 2600 Jr system only - no games or wires
Zelda link to past SNES - cart only
Super Adventure island SNES - cart only
River city ransom NES - cart only
N64 mortal kombat trilogy CIB
NES dragon warrior iii CIB
Legend of Zelda gameboy advance CIB
Adventures of link gambit advance CIB
N64 Zelda ocarina of time CIB
SNES romance of the three kingdoms II BIB
N64 quake II box only
Odama w/ mic CIB gamecube cIB
Metroid prime gamecube CIB
Metroid prime 2 Echos gamecube CIB
The best part is he is going to give mr first crack at any video game stuff he buys for now on. I'm really excited about this!

That sounds pretty awesome. Any pictures? Good pile of game stuff and a nice source for the future too.

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
I'll post a pic or two when I can get home to my pc.
And I'm also curious about the touchpad. Was thinking about buying my wife one and that price looks awesome. Web to walmart in town and they sold their out yesterday.
