This isn't a bad game. Bosses are a little easy but all the weapons are decent.

Does powering up your secondary weapon increase rank? What I did in this run was kill myself on Stage 1 against the first enemy, which drops an extra main power-up and weapon power-up. That way, I could collect three green items on Stage 1 and get to max power. I no-missed the rest of Stage 1, plus Stages 2 and 3. Probably not necessary to suicide there, but I was just doing that as a test run...

Unsure of any sort of rank increase to be honest. The powerups are a little weird. You think collecting 3 reds in a row might get you 3 power levels, but sometimes it only works if you pick up a green first then switch to red, new power level on red. I'd stick with red only because the charge shot is better. This isn't a bad game. Good score.

Also, a quick heads-up for November; it looks like trap15 may be running a STGT over on ShmupsForum around the same time, so there may be a clash. I'll probably take part in the ShmupsForum tournament so I may have to skip the one here, unless by some coincidence the same games appear in both tournaments...

Just noticed that my score has a 1 at the end...not sure why because I didn't use any continues. I may have died early in Stage 1 and selected 'Restart' from the pause menu. I thought that would completely restart the run but it would appear that it adds a 1 on there just to be annoying...

Just tried it out - it does restart your run but your score goes back to 1 instead of zero.
