I am curious to how well it works. The video only shows emulation for a few seconds.

Soooo...do you think this is part of the reason SNK Playmore wanted to part ways with Tommo? Perhaps the "breach of contract" had to do with Tommo's inability to make a hack-proof system. Read the latest rant from SNK and judge for yourself.

I forgot to add my favorite line:
"Regarding return support for any/all of the Licensed Products, please contact the retail
store / online retailer from which the product(s) were purchased."

Hello, Best Buy? Yeah, I bought this system from you a year ago, and now the company has asked that I talk to you about returning it.

Nobody can make a hack proof system.

So I guess SNK isn't thrilled that Amazon keeps putting the Mega Collection up as a lightning deal.

I think SNK was just as disappointed with this system as the consumers where. Tommo built up the X Gold to be huge, then couldn't live up to that expectation.

And why do you think they have to keep putting them up? :)

For all their faults, I love SNK. Wouldn't be the first time they cried foul at a licensing deal *cough*neogeofreak*cough*

by the way, NGF is making a comeback. Or attempting to, anyway.

Well I was on the cusp of buying Neo Geo X Classics Vol 4. Shock Troopers is on it, and I want to participate in that game's Together Retro month.

Then I realized Shock Troopers was also on SNK Arcade Classics Vol 1 for PS2. So I bought that instead. For like $10 less....

I'm actually still somewhat interested in buying one of these, but definitely not at the 149.99 price point many places still seem to be asking. I don't think I would pay above $50 for one, and that reluctantly.
