Load times are very quick on iPad. It's probably because the iPad has a quad-core processor and the drive is solid state. That's significantly more powerful than the original Xbox

Quad-core? You must be using the ipad with the Retina display then? (Pretty sure the ipad 2 is dual-core...)

Yes, I have the most current model with Retina. However, I owned an iPad 2 before this and I was able to run every new game just fine.

9th Dawn is kind of a throwback to the old Ultima games and other CRPG's. Toucharcade wrote a review of it. http://toucharcade.com/2013/06/21/9th-dawn-review/

I played all the free dungeons of DDD and then hit the paywall. It was an okay experience but I don't feel it's worth paying three dollars to access the other half of the game.
A bit too repetitive to warrant a purchase.
