Depends on the Target. The first one just looked at the Best Buy website on my phone, and the other one looked it up themselves. The cashier was pretty hesitant and had to ask a manager to confirm the price. But both times, the manager said something like "Well, we gotta match it. That's our policy."

Oh, and you gotta bring the game to customer services. Not the regular checkout.

Edit: Any time you see a big retailer having a sale on something, but it's sold out, just get it price matched somewhere else. I've done this with Nintendo Land, Professor Layton 3DS, and Kid Icarus Uprising. ($20, $15, $15). As far as I know, Best Buy, Walmart, Fry's, and Target will all price match each other, as well as Amazon.

Thanks for the tips! I picked up one of two remaining copies at my local Target this morning for $8. I wanted this Wii game more than any other; so, I am very happy to add it to my collection for an incredible price.

You know what I mean...

You see a game for cheap. You think you can make a profit on it. You buy it, sell it, and put the money aside for something not game related. So you didn't buy it to fund your own game collection, but to buy something completely different with the money...

Mentally there might be a difference for some people between buying to fund that same hobby, or buying simply to make a profit to use on something else...
i don't think there's a difference. it's your money; save it/spend it how you like.

i would hazard a guess that people who think there is a difference are insufferable assholes.
Couldn't have put it better. Didn't for see there being so much resistance to buying a game solely to flip it. Don't think I could retire doing that. However, if I find an expensive game cheap I don't want to own I will try and flip it (or trade here on racketboy). I know I am such a greedy evil capitalist. I sold the Jetsons in less than 12 hours of it being listed on amazon.com. 8) Funny enough the money is gonna fund the $1000 car repair bill I just got hit with. Is it karma for profiting off the used game market we may never know. Now, lets get back to the finds.

I just got back from an 8 hour round trip drive to get some Sony PVMs. I went to a medical equipment reseller/recycler's warehouse. They had dozens of 19" and 20" models. Unfortunately, I missed being able to snag some 25" PVMs and one 32" PVM because they recycled them a week earlier.

Here are some cruddy shots of a few pallets of PVMs. Sorry for the lousy pics. The lighting was almost non-existant in there.

And here are the four 1943MD's that I picked up:

What's so special about those tvs compared to other CRTs?

They're not TV's, they're PVMs, which stands for Professional Video Monitor. They cost thousands when they were made, accept analog RGB signals, and are arguably the best displays for retro gaming. Those particular models are medical grade equipment.

Last weekend's yard sale haul was pretty light. I found a copy of Sonic Battle & Zelda: Minish Cap for .75 cents each.

A week ago, I happened to come across a newly listed Genesis lot of Sonic 1, Sonic 3, Streets of Rage 2, NBA Jam: TE, & Toy Story CIB for $20 w/FS. A perfect lot for me, with the exclusion of Sonic 1, I have none of these games. I've also been looking for Sonic 3 for awhile at a price below the $10-15+ most people charge for that game CIB.
