Yes, in that way the game is very Zen. I believe it actually trains you to control your attention in a way similar to shikantaza ("just sitting") in meditation practice. If you get too caught up in thinking, you hit a wall. If you get to angry from losing, you hit a wall. If you get excited from breaking your previous record you hit a wall. If you focus too much on the center of the hexagon, you hit a wall. If you focus too much on the outside of the hexagon, you hit a wall.

You have to become the hexagon. In other words, all of your awareness is consumed by the game. You are aware of the entirety of the hexagon. Your movements flow with the winding shapes. You do not attach to outside distractions. That's how you win. But for me, winning is more about achieving a oneness with the game than it is about getting a new high score (though I love that too). :)
