Didn't find much during the weekend (didn't really go any where) got the following saturday:

Resident Evil Survivor - $1 (missing manual but I have another copy with a manual and no case)
Donkey Kong Land 2 - $1

Find on craigslist for $30
Genesis system with hookups and three controllers (they looked nearly new)
Genesis Flight stick (also looks almost brand new)
Menacer gun w/sensor
Games:
World Of Illuision w/ mickey mouse
T2: The Arcade Game
Tiny Toons Adventure: Buster's Lost Treasure
Xmen
Disney's Aladdin
LHX Attack Chopper
James Pond II: Codename Robocod
PGA Tour III
Spider-Man
The Jungle Book
Prime Time NFL Football
Jurassic Park
PGA Tour Golf
PGA Tour Golf II
Greatest Heavyweights (cib)
Amazing Tennis (cib)
Mortal Kombat (cib)
NHL '94 (cib)
Boxing Legends of The Ring (cib)
Jordan vs Bird (cib)
Desert Strike Return to the Gulf (cib)
NHLPA Hockey 93 (cib)
Hockey (cib)
Andre Agassi (cib)
Jungle Strike (no game but complete box)

Lots of junk games but plenty of good cases to make my other complete games look nicer. :D Not too bad for $30 Oh and he threw in a set of Saitek X45 flight controllers. No idea what to do with these big things. :?

The last few weeks.......

Post by Kahokian »

Last saturday I picked this up for 115 bucks....

Sega cd (with manual and hookups)

Sega 32x (with starwars game and racing game plus the hookups)

2 sega saturns. one works..one doesnt...14 games(boxed with manual) no special titles sports and fightering games..10 game cases..2 controllers and hook ups.

3 snes games..illusion of the gaia...ff 3 and legend of the mana. and an earthbound box he threw in cuz i spent over 100 bux.

alundra 2 and saga frontier.

micro machines cart for the genesis..cart is a weird shaped.

This really cool atari olympic pin..I guess atari sponsored the olympics lol

30 nes sleeves ..which were ten for a dollar

Original gameboy..works with legend of the riverking (great game might i add). for 5 bucks.

mario party 2 and majora's mask.

The guy was a huge collector selling his extra's it was a really rainy day and he was making zero money..we had been emailing for quite sometime and he said he really needed the money..you wouldnt believe what this old man had..it was insane....it was a gold mine dude..literally...and he knew what he had...he knew the right prices..he just had a soft spot for me I guess..I strictly collect..I dont buy than sell and I think he understood that. I would offer him less than half for what he had priced and he usually bumped it up maybe 5 bucks...good honest man.

Then the next day i went to the flea market....I bought a ps1 with a controller for 3 bucks....cadaco electronic football? box bascially never played..made in 1965.. for 5 bux and a oydssey 200 for 6 bucks brand new boxed..its like an old school gaming system..with pong in what not...it looks rad

Then the week before that I went to a local pawn shop and saw they had some boxed nes games...all were 5 bucks..as I was look through them I saw that some of the carts were blue..which after I looked them up they were unlicensed nes
games made by color dreams who eventually released the bible games or whatever for the nes. each game was boxed with manuals and sleeves.

crystal mines

raid 2020 (2 copies)

silent assault

p'radikus conflict..which is legit lol

robodemons

okay so the first day i went and bought the pradikus conflict game for 5 bucks..here is where it gets awesome...so I get the others the next day and walk up to the counter the owner tells the lady at the register they are 3 dollars a piece...but the day before they were 5? weird right...so i give the lady a twenty..and I really wasnt paying attention to what change she gave me back, I just put it into my pocket..as I was driving home I stopped at a local drive thru to hit the dollar menu up and I pulled out my change I had from the purchase...I had 16 dollars and some change...i looked at the receipt and the lady gave me all the games for 3.28!! lol I felt terrible..I was going to go back and give them there money...but i didnt. I still dont know if I am in the wrong or not..this pawnshop is not your typical pawnshop...more of a highway robbery...they told me when I first went there that the games like mario and zelda were the more expensive ones lol..they didnt know what they had to begin with...do you fellow gamers and collectors think I was in the wrong...or is it there fault that they made a mistake? They are cut throat people in there and might I add I live in a small community in central illinois very close to the indiana border...but still!

This is not a lie..I am gonna post a pic tom ..I just had to tell some people who care lol my friends dont give 2 sh*ts and my gf well...she would rather I spend the money..on food lol or her..you know how it is.

Shame on you. That game sucks. Nothing like the first one...

Yup, I have the Mega Drive version and the top of the cartridge is somewhat oval-shaped with a flat tip...

That is actually the best find in your post... lol

Screw going back. It's a shop. Had it been an individual like the old man you bought that stuff from, then you should've gone back. That shop on the other hand most probably still made some profit on those games, even if you got them dirt cheap. Still, it's up to you to decide if what you did was right or wrong. It's not up to me -or anyone else- to say so and to make you feel at ease with what you did or did not do. That would be too easy...

Anyways, welcome to the forum. Nice to see I'm not the only one with a 'multiple dots at the end of a sentence' disorder. Even though I'm more consistent and only use 3 dots in comparison to your two, three or four dots...

went to a local pawn shop today and picked up:

dynowarz NES (for the lolz)

and

wheel of fortune N64 (because who could argue with Vanna's sweet haircut?)

for $4 total

And my girlfriend found DK64 and Power Rangers Rescue in a drawer in her room and gave them to me...not too shabby.

At the pawn shop I passed on Snowboard Kids 1 & 2 (N64) because while I remember them being fun back in the day, I'm kind of iffy on how well they've held up. Still, for 2.50 each I think I'm gonna go grab them tomorrow just to have in the collection.

Snowboard Kids 2 can be a pricey game, even more so if you live in a PAL zone, I would go pick it up for $2.50 if I was you.
