Favorite 3d fighter series
As I stated in my favorite 2d fighting game series, this one has more options I picked Bloody roar, Powerstone, and Dead or alive.

VF got my vote, VFKids is my fav entry in the series, its faster, graphics that are still nice to look at today and a all round good game. I am not big on 3D fighters, but Virtua Fighter series gets my vote.

Virtua Fighter. I love the 32X version, even if it is a little weird jumping.

Easily Virtua Fighter. I've never been too into 3D fighters, and I tend to get a bit lost beyond VF2, but that will still always be my choice for the genre.

Bloody Roar has always been a lot of fun to just pick up and play. Tekken and Virtua Fighter are my top favourites though.

This isn't Underground gamer Anyway, I vote for VF. The undisputed master of the 3D arena.

Re: Favorite 3d fighter series
never liked fighters of any kind (apart from International Karate/Exploding Fist series)
but if we're talking 3D it's Powerstone, hands down.
I'll admit that VF was the first 3D fighter I played (Arcade) and it's swallowed a great deal of my money; but Powerstone has "that extra", which I've yet to see in any other 3D fighter

The high peak of Bloody Roar was imo, the second installment. Any one else agree?

I've played 2, 3, 4, and primal fury. I think 2 and Primal Fury were my favourites. 2 was the first one I played so it sticks in my mind as the most fun. Primal Fury just felt like the most complete package. Awesome selection of characters and fun mutli leveled stages. I felt ripped off for owning 3 after playing Primal Fury. 4 was crap. I liked customizing a character and the whole quest like thing, but the levels are some of the worst in any fighting game I've played. Every stage turned into a box with walls that popped up to stop you from leaving, and everything just felt like a complete mess.
