I played the PC demo 3 days ago. The game looks to be a simplified PoP: Sands of Time.

Well, if it is a simplified PoP: SoT, then this will prolly be the best new-age TMNT game ever.

That's kinda was I was thinking. SoT got a lot of praise, so add some co-op stuff with Turtles and you should be good to go.
