Here's the easiest one:

http://impaleriso.com/psx_eboot_creator.htm

find the ISO and click start. copy to psp.

___________

Of course I'm not the type to do anything the easy way so here's the way I do it if there's not more than one CD for the game:

Check compatibility:
http://www.gamerspress.com/index.php?ti ... ility_List

I dump the PS1 CD using ImgBurn
http://www.imgburn.com/

Convert to PSP format eboot using AutoPopstation4
http://files.filefront.com/AutoPopstati ... einfo.html

Move the output directory from Autopopstation's \Result\ directory to the PSP's \PSP\Games\ directory

Add the background, music and icon using PSP Content Manager 1.8
http://www.psphacksmods.com/2007/08/23/ ... nager-v18/
with the 3.80m33 patch here
http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=85916

Picture/Icon packs for PSX-PSP games can be found here
http://popsdb.com/

A few games need to be run using the 3.71 or 3.72 popsloader plugin.

Popsloader guide here

If all else fails, just download a pre-made psx-psp game off of isohunt and stick it in your /psp/game/ directory on your card. Can't get any easier than that.
good luck.

Edit: replaced isoproducer with imgburn

Oops, my bad. I just tried it and it's true. Isoproducer optimizes for epsxe and is not good for PSP. I had previously used Nero Burning Rom on my entire collection when my PC started playing them better than my PS1, so I just converted my images as necessary. Just trying to make the list with freeware type programs...
Yes, Isobuster is the progam to use. Thanks for the correction.
