I managed to find a sweet deal on eBay on a 7800 ($20!) and have recently acquired a few games for it. It's a pretty cool system for someone who likes home console conversions of classic arcade games.
But I thought it would be nice to have a central location for the collection of 7800 lore here on Racketboy.
Right now, I have Pole Position 2 (as required by law...), Centipede, Robotron 2084, and Galaga. I don't have any official 7800 controllers though; I have been using 2600 joysticks and/or Genesis pads. I know I don't have access to the "second button" but I don't really think I have games that demand it at this point.
Here's my first bit of 7800 minutia to contribute to the thread - There is an aftermarket adapter that is available to allow you to use any Genesis compatible controller or joystick with the 7800 that allows one of the other buttons on the Genesis controller to act as Button 2 on a 7800 joystick. Without that adapter, the 7800 recognizes a Genesis controller just like a 2600 joystick, as a one-button device.

Great system. It is very fun to collect for it since the games are: (1) generally better than those available on the 2600; and (2) quite inexpensive. I am trying to acquire a complete collection of 7800 carts, and I only need a few more of them. (There are a remarkable number of CIB (and new!) games floating around out there, however; so, getting a complete collection of cart-only games is actually pretty tough!)

Yeah, I got sealed copies of Hat Trick and Pole Position 2 for $5 total a few years back at a flea market. I've also got Robotron 2084 and Karateka. I need to get more into 7800 collecting, but with lack of any AV option other than RF keeps me from playing it much (same problem with Intellivision).
