Yes it is. Both games got "meh" reviews, but that's just average critics and From Software games of yore. The company was making amazing games long before Dark Souls.

As much as I worship Souls, I hope they're not tied down to it permanently now. I'd love to see them do a modern first person dungeon crawler. Though, guess I've never played their old stuff so I could still check those out lol.

Got unexpected copies of Bayonetta 2 & Hyrule Warriors today, for $40 each. Thank you Staples and the ridiculous coupons you send business customers. I wasn't in at full price, but $40 was a much easier bite. Yay! 8)

Here in America (well, in Maine at least) Staples does not sell console games in their stores.

They do sell PC games, but they are mostly budget and casual stuff. There are some exceptions though - I did get Amnesia: The Dark Descent there last year, for instance.

Maybe next time I'm in Canada I'll see if there's a Staples nearby.

(Now that I think of it I did visit a Staples in Quebec once. They had French Easy Buttons. I kept pushing them and giggling uncontrollably. I am not a mature man.)

I think consoles/games are being phased out of Staples retail locations in Canada, which makes me sad. Like Future Shop has done with the crazy $4.97 deals, Staples locations have moved all the games to clearance bins and have moved other stock to that shelf space. However, there's still a small selection of new releases you can get from their website, and they aren't excluded from coupons...so if you get creative with stacking (or get $25 off of $40, $25 off of $75 coupons e-mailed to you) and are looking for something new/can't wait, it's the way to go.

If you're looking for an awesome first person dungeon crawler look no further than King's Field IV: The Ancient City. From Software perfected the genre with that one. When it starts off you'll think it's terrible but by the end of the game you will be utterly amazed at what you've experienced.
