Hey guys, dont play PC games all your life.

Or this might happen. An ulnar artery aneurysm. It sucked.

Caused by having that artery compressed all my life at a desk, PC gaming and browsing, and clogging up and bursting. I didn't even eat all that unhealthy all my life, nor am I fat. 5'11", 165lbs, 27 years old. I'm super jealous of people playing Torchlight 2 right now without me, since it has no gamepad support. I cant really tolerate PC gaming more than 20 minutes now, or else it aches from my wrist to my elbow. This surgery was actually over a year ago, but it's never going to get better at this point.

Also, your friends will joke that it was caused by too much masturbation. Try arguing that one. It equally sucks.

wow! Damn.

sorry to see that your life has gotten somewhat harder.

 Someone should totally shop SCORPION'S weapon on your palm.

It makes me think what else will happen to us gamers when we get older.

I remember back in the day the nintendo cramps/nintendo elbow.

Damn man, that sucks. I've had periods in the past where I was playing PC games too many hours and thought I was going to have some horrible carpal tunnel or tennis elbow. I guess I was lucky that taking breaks made it subside. :(

Weird thing is, I've never been a binge gamer type. I take breaks hourly no matter what, and have always since I was just a kid. I always just needed to get up and stretch or else I'd fall asleep. I guess it did no good.

Speedy recovery man.

How did health insurance play into this? If you're covered, you're covered, but were you asked "how did it happen"?

I know you are not asking for advice but maybe there are some alternatives you haven't considered and may be worth it for you to check out. E.g. have you tried a trackball instead of a mouse?
Other than that I'm pretty sure you can use some program to externally emulate a mouse with a gamepad or a analog joystick, whatever works for you (with a gamepad you are probably used to control directions with the left-hand which I guess helps). I'm not 100% sure but I think Xpadder allows this type of thing. You likely won't be "competitive" in real time games but it can be ok for single player ones, and on turn-based ones it will work regardless.

I'm sorry to hear about this. How well do gamepads work for you? Can you play indefinitely, or does it eventually start hurting?

That blows Steve. Maybe you should stop fapping so much. :P

I guess that's explains why you don't stay long when we play online.
I'm still not sure whether I'm a kid or a squid now.
