Well i finally beat it and i must say it wasn't bad at all, looks like all the complains about the game was "this is not starfox, he's walking" well that dosen't aply to me. It has his highs and lows but overall the game is enjoyable but it can be a bit boring in some parts and will be better with more boss battles, there's only like 3 or 4 in total.
I was a bit dissapointed/happy with the final boss because:

It is Andross, is cool to fight him again with amazing details on his face... but i was specting at least a tiny fight against General Scales.

But overall fun game, and if you can pass the thing that Fox is now walking and out of his ship you can be surprised for what this game offers.

SFA's a solid Zelda clone. A bit on the short side, but I've always liked it. Never really understood the hate.

This is a nice first person puzzle game from Kim Swift, the developer of Portal. Quantum Conundrum is a simarly brain twisting game that makes you think about space and time a little differently. In Quantum Conundrum, you shift through different dimensions to solve puzzle. There's a heavy dimension, a reversed gravity dimension, a slow dimension, and of course a fluffy dimension. It's a really clever game and there are some challenging puzzles later on. While I never got bored with the puzzling gameplay, the graphics all kind of looked the same throughout, which made the game feel a bit monotonous. Other than that, it's a fun first person puzzler. It's more light hearted than Portal and doesn't have as interesting of a story or characters, but I did find it to be a more challenging puzzle game.

Just beat Golden Sun. Wish Well...duh! 8)

Up until just recently, I've struggled to stick with most games long enough to complete them. Bouncing from one title to the next, I never really experienced the true essence of my collection.

Last month I started to make a solid effort to change that. So I'll start my list now. Better late than never.

1. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
2. Super Castlevania IV
3. Golden Sun

Also just about finished with The Last Story, and Ape Escape 2.

Kirby's Block Ball Game Boy *NEW*
Disaster: Day of Crisis Wii *NEW*

Kirby's Block Ball was a surprisingly fun little breakout-style game. The powers mechanic felt a bit underutilised, but there were other little ideas which made it fun, and the boss fights felt well done. I've yet to get the 'true' ending, I've just beaten all 10 starting worlds. To get to the secret final level, I need to get a high score in all other stages. I've done this on levels 1,2,9 and 10. Overall a good game, not too much to say about it really. It's pretty much a well designed block breaker.

Disaster is an interesting game that is overall better than the sum of its parts. It's generally slightly flawed - the shooting stages are bit too frequent, the survival stages are a bit overly simple, the game makes far too much use of waggle quick time events, and the driving stages have awful steering. But the thing is, it's all really fun. The game is like a hilarious B movie - it's not an amazing game, but it's really enjoyable. The plot seems like it's taking itself seriously but is hilariously funny in some cases (in one cut scene, a volcanic eruption on the east coast of America manages to spit debris far enough to take out all of the naval ships on the west coast and prevent aid being sent in to a tsunami struck city). The game also has a few arcadey elements that look hilariously out of place in the serious main game. You can punch boulders, bins and oil barrels open and find (massive) burgers and meat inside to restore your stamina. The character eats them, and they are without fail twice the size of his head. Overall, the game is worth picking up for cheap if you can, though with its Europe only release in the west, it may not be best to import it unless you can find a decent deal on shipping in America.

Wow I've really been slacking over the last month. I've started so many games too.

Will hopefully have another one beaten by this weekend. Would like to get at least 25 in this year.
I'm still not sure whether I'm a kid or a squid now.

I'm only adding these two flash games because I actually really enjoyed them, and because there was an actual end to both of them.

Frog Fractions (http://twinbeardstudios.com/frog-fractions) is impossible to explain without ruining the awesome surprises it constantly presents you with. It's hilarious and creative, and completely insane. It can take anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half to get through.

Skrillex Quest (http://www.skrillexquest.com) is an homage to old-school action RPG's and has a cute 4th-wall-breaking story. And don't be deceived by the name; even people that don't like Skrillex can enjoy it. It only took me about half an hour to complete, too, so it's worth checking out.

2011 Games Beaten
2010 Games Beaten

I had planned to play 4-5 Bond games during the month of November to coincide with the release of Skyfall, but I only managed to get to these two recent entries. That said, both of these games are EXCELLENT and among the best film-franchise based games I have ever played. Both offer a nice mix of stealth and action-based gameplay, and for the most part you can choose your style and choose to mix and match how you approach the game. Both feature lots of large set pieces, showcase higher end graphics and high quality production values, and generally offer a solid representation of the strengths of their respective genre. Blood Stone feels like a cross between Uncharted and Gears of War (in a good way) and Goldeneye Reloaded feels like a more tactical-based FPS (think Metro 2033 or some of the recent Wolfenstein games). I found Blood Stone to be a bit easy and Goldeneye's last few levels to be infuriatingly hard, but both are well worth pursuing through to the end.

Oh, and the vehicle-based levels in Blood Stone are amazing. Considering how cheap this game can be found these days, it isn't to be missed.

First game I've beat in a while... Heavy Rain. It was really good, I regret putting off buying it for so long. MUCH more "human" than your average video game.
I got the almost-best ending: Ethan rescued Shaun and gets together with Madison, but I lost Norman in the junkyard scene. I really didn't expect Shelby to be the killer; in fact, until he was revealed to be so I was convinced Ethan was. I also didn't expect to rescue Shaun, since I didn't kill the drug dealer and took the "poison."
The fact that I was kept off-guard right until the very end just goes to show how well-made this game is. Unfortunately, the way the story played out for me is now the way that feels real, so even though there's outcomes I haven't seen they would feel fake if I went back and did things differently.

I hear Heavy Rain was made by the same guy who did Indigo Prophesy. I should check that one out.
