kohina

Post by chupon »

Anyone stream music from kohina.com?

I'm absolutely astounded by the tracks from some C64 and older PC rigs. They blow most NES midi tracks away (There are obviously exceptions - Contra, Mega Man 2, etc.).

I have not before, but I see a lot of quality listed there. I am partial to SID tunes though. :)

That is the best site ever. Within minutes of my first visit they were playing music from Rastan, which is one of my all time favorites.

I stream kohina pretty regularly, a few times a week when I'm online fiddling around. I was blown away when I was introduced by this track for Driller by Matt Gray - never had a C64 and realize I missed out on awesome stuff.

You should listen to the in game music (12 minutes or so) for Delta by Rob Hubbard. All the youtube videos I can find are the title music which is good too, but not epic like the in game music. Of course you can find the SID to play. It will be song 1 in the SID file, though it won't default to playing that one first.

Thanks for this. I usually trawl Youtube to get my classic gaming tune fix, but this is going to be getting a lot more of my attention. Very nice!
