Castle makes God of War look kinda dumb.

One thing I want to say that I can tell that they are not just targeting Western but also the Eastern audience with this trailer. There is Kojima DNA imprinted all over the game.

That's strange - I watched a trailer from the Japanese PSN, and it was all English voices with Japanese subtitles. I think Patrick Stewart was voicing the white-bearded guy.

Castlevania is my favourite game series.

That video? What the fuck. First of all, seven minutes and you can't give us gameplay? Second of all, way too much cutscene -- and it doesn't even look particularly compelling.

I desperately want this to be a good game, but each successive trailer or video I see for it makes me think otherwise. Especially when this close to the North American release, they still aren't showing off the gameplay.

Found a gameplay video on gametrailers. I was excited about this game but now. . . blech. I'm so over "quicktime" events. Just let games be games damnit! In about a 2 minutes of watching only about half of it seemed like real gameplay. You attack a guy and then it shows up saying "Hit X!" "Hit RT to jump on the thing!" and then an overly long cutscene where you watch him leap onto the bull or whatever and stab it, then jump back onto his horse. Great. . . .

Yeah, I'm honestly not very excited for this game. Turning Castlevania into God of War isn't exactly a dream come true to me.

I think they should have just made this an entirely new IP. I'd still be avoiding it, but at least it wouldn't be completing the rape of the Castlevania series that Legacy of Darkness and Lament of Innocence started.

I watched the TGS vids on the JDM PSN last night. Ryu ga Gotoku with zombies and monsters? I just beat the 4th one and was eager to for a 5th. Not anymore. I still have hope in the PSP one.
