In other words, do you strive to make your video game collection only of the highest quality, for example you pretty much only buy games that you perceive as "good" as well as games that are rare and/or valuable and always complete.
Or do you strive to own every game ever made for your systems, irregardless of quality or rarity? You just want it all.
I tend to go for quality only, although I have been thinking about trying to buy and own all US Saturn and Dreamcast games. But that is a project for a later date if possible.
When game collecting, do you go for quality or quantity?

If I wont play it, I dont buy it generally. My entire collection so far is games that are well known for being good or games I enjoyed as a kid.

I usually go for quality, except for my extensive 32X collection (I'm trying to get all of them)
Sega Genesis (Model 2), Sega CD, Sega 32X, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Game Boy Family, Phillips CD-i Model 910, NES, Atari 5200, Virtual Boy, Atari Jaguar, Playstations 3-4

Quality. So many good ones. Limited run systems such as Atari 5200 and Vectrex maybe quantity.
If anyone tries for quantity on the PS2, a spare room is needed.

Quality. I never buy games in bundles unless I have a really good reason, like I don't own 3/4 of the games in it, and that most of them are good games.

Quantity on my N64, I want every US release boxed with manual, or at least every cart.
Semi-Quality to Quality for everything else.

I only buy games I'll (eventually) play. Yes I buy some crap games cheap every now and then, but they're at least in a genre I enjoy and figure I can squeeze a few bucks enjoyment out of them. Most of the games I have that aren't my thing were obtained in lots with very few duds that I just ended up not enjoying.
So mostly good or better games in genres I like with the occasional crappy shmup or action title.

I only want games: (A) that I want to play, or (B) that I have a nostalgic connection to.

Quality over quantity, all the time.
