#18 - http://www.racketboy.com/retro/2010/10/ ... oncon.html
Hopefully Fast will chime in here with his thoughts on this very detailed interview. It makes me jealous that I couldn't have been @ DragonCon. MechCorps sounds very intense, and I am now dying to try one of these in person.
Also, by request Hobie-Wan is featured in a forum member spotlight segment. I'm sure he'll be happy to clarify any answers below!

i don't want to sound like creep, but it is cool to hear the voices behind the user names. you can get a small glimpse into their personality.
if you took a shit, please put it back

Great show. I was especially fascinated with the Frogg interview. I remember going to Exhilarama (in Houston, LOL) and playing in the 8 or so pods they had from time to time back in the mid 90s. My brother and I always wondered what happened to all of the pods and hardware.
Congrats on making the 'cast, Hobie. Great interview. To call that man a tinkerer is an understatement. The night before first CTX meet up, he was pulling apart my Playstation in an attempt to diagnose a mod chip issue and cleaning coke (don't ask) out of the Sega Saturn Mission Stick I had given up on. He also has the energy source of a 3 year old. He just never... stops.

Funny you say that as I think Skype made me sound funny. It doesn't really sound like me at all. Thanks for the people who were interested in hearing me ramble a bit.
I may have to check out MechCorps at some point. I'd played the Mechwarrior pods a few times at Dave & Busters here in Houston before they got rid of them. It would be very cool to play with the updates they've done and I'm glad they've made the effort ot keep the machines going.

That's amazing! It's exactly as I remember it. I remember my first time watching the training segment in that room off to the side. LOL
Just incredible. I never thought I would see it again. Thanks for that.
