I made it with how SERIOUSLY people take the Neo Geo in mind. There are a lot of bad apples in the Neo Geo community. More so than any other system, unfortunately.

I think the problem with the problem with the neo geo community is that it pretty much requires you to be rich to collect AES so you get alot of rich pompus pricks with that "I'm better than you" mentality.

You don't necessarily have to be "rich" to collect AES games. You just have to decide that AES games are a high priority. I could probably acquire 30 or so AES titles next year if I wanted to, but that would drain 100% of my gaming budget. It's just not worth it. I like other stuff much more.
As far as "communities" go, I find that online forums dedicated to one single company/series/hardware/whatever seem to attract the most drama, as opposed to those which are dedicated to "gaming in general" which are always much more chill.
