Thanks!
That's how I looked at my PSP games the other day when I suddenly realized I'd accumulated over 70 games for it in a little over a year. I'm still not sure how that happened

Nice collection, nice shelves, but nothing is nicer than tribute to Breetai in your signature. Well done sir... well done.

Re: Michi's Game Collection - *UPDATE: Shelf Construction*
Thank you, 8bit.
Here's the latest shelf photo. Got the backs cut and attached without any trouble. Then I sanded them again to make sure they were all nice and smooth.
I just finished adding the first coat of stain. Now I've just got to wait till it dries to add the second. I'm hoping it won't need a third, because I really want to put these in my room and orgainize my stuff

Ah well there you go, the backs will give lateral stability.

Added Computer games and Guide books.
All that's left game-wise is the PS2 collection.

Nice, did you pick up the Gateway binder with those in it?

Yep. The binder came 'as is.' I found it back with the box of randomly assorted chargers and then found the Rouge Squadron books stacked with the 'self help' books. I remember thinking that ye old thrift was a bit disorganized that day
I've been meaning to get some cases for them once I find some decent cheap ones. It's nice that whoever donated the games was considerate enough to keep the inserts, so I won't have to print anything out for the cases

Huzza! Shelves be done!
It took about 4 coats to complete and an extra 2 days to let that freshly stained smell disappear, but here they are:
The camera flash makes my stain job on those back panels look absolutely horrible but I blame most of that on the Polyshade. Ah well. Once I put something in them no one will be able to tell

Nice, did you poly them too? They turned out really nice! If you are trying to get an absolute finish, I'd recommend this little tip.
1. In between coats of poly, run your fingers across the surface. If you feel any roughness, it's most likely the grain of the wood.
2. Take a sanding sponge and gently sand until the surface feels smooth.
3. Reapply poly, and repeat if the surface feels smooth.
I only suggest this because it makes dusting a lot easier.
