Re: Luke's Room
Looks pretty spacey up there for plenty of TV, desk, and seating. The little room would be great for putting the actual media, boxes and stuff so you can keep the larger space uncluttered.

I'm not sure if that is possible to do over the Internet.

Re: Luke's Room
Were you in an apartment or a house before? If this is your first house, then congratulations!
The house is very tasteful on the outside. I like traditional style homes (colonials, capes, bungalows, etc). I'm not a fan of contemporary style or splits/ranches.
It looks like the house is vinyl-sided? I prefer wood clapboards/shingles but you can't beat vinyl for maintenance purposes (no peeling paint). Sometimes you will get some mold/green mildew on the north side which can be easily scrubbed off.
It also appears that house has no basement (just a crawl space). I think that is common down south because they don't need to dig too far for the footings to be below the frost line. But you make up for it with a roomy third floor which is not too common up north. My attic is not really usable since the builder used trusses instead of rafters/joists.

Actually, they do it because the ground is so much softer in the South. The house would sink into the ground with a full-sized basement.
Anyway, nice place! Some serious gaming could go on there.

First house, and thanks.
You can't find a house with a basement in my area because of all the flooding. Boat access is about ten minutes away, although it's about a twenty minute boat ride to the ocean.

Congrats on the first house man. You should come back to Chicago though. We got basements, deep dish pizza, gyros, Chicago Bears 9-3 so basically everything you need in life.
