Classic Audio Help
Don't know if anyone on here is into this stuff but I couldn't think of anywhere else to ask. My current home audio setup is a Panasonic combination cassette and record player. The only audio out it has is those red and black clips that you thread bare wire through and clip it down. Not sure what that is called. Anyway. It has no audio in. I recently acquired an 8-Track deck. It uses RCA cables for its audio out. I currently run it through my TV. Is there any way to run these so I have both going to my original Panasonic speakers? Maybe some sort of switch box?

You could use one of those cassette shaped adapters that plugs into a headphone jack that were often used for playing portable CD players in car tape decks. Heck, I have a Sony one that I don't need anymore. Assuming the 8-Track has decent line level output, then you could pick up an RCA to headphone plug cord to couple with it. If the output isn't good enough from the unit, then running it through a little cheap phono preamp before the tape adapter should take care of it.
I imagine you can find the tape adapter cheap, but if not I'll sell you mine for not too much.
