August 2012 forum issues topic - read and note here

I started getting errors today coming here, and all of a sudden my theme changed to Glossy Blue. I'd rather have that dark blue/black one, but when I choose it it gives me an error.

Did someone update the board software and not include the other themes in the update?

I'm editing this topic and merging the other threads that people keep making about forum issues. If you notice a forum problem, go ahead and post if here if someone else hasn't mentioned it instead of creating a new topic. - Hobie edit

There's still some broken stuff from whatever happened. Themes are one such thing.

I don't know... I always have the normal one on so I don't really notice it. Though I have been seeing the board go crazy a bit for these past couple of days.

Nick seems to think that the problem was too many old backups of the site clogging up storage on the server. He's working on a fix and I'd hope that the themes come back soon - all this white hurts my eyes.

I'm not sure who to go to or where to post this, but can one of the mods or admins help at all?

For some weird reason, when I'm logged in, all the buttons regarding posting (starting a new topic, replying to a topic, quoting someone etc) have completely disappeared. I basically can no longer post!

I only managed to post this by copying the link address for a new post whilst I was logged out and then logging in.

I've just changed to something where it looks really horrible, white, plain text and I've posted a reply that way.Not sure if it's a skin and it's supposed to look like this. Thanks though, that seems to work as a temporary measure.

Weird though that the default skin has removed all posting options for me. I'm not banned, I just can't see any of the buttons any more.
