in favor of the Tokyo Motor show (The horror!) Anyway, these are just some
of the pics I took at this year's show.
You may ask yourself "Why are those old cars there? They are nothing special."
In Japan, 80s Japanese cars are rare. People don't keep cars very long. The older your car is,
the more expensive registration gets. Also, people think that after about 70,000 miles, the car is no good.
Of course, you all know that a Japanese car is in its prime at 70K. The myth about having to get rid of a car
after a certain amount of mileage is false. You can keep a car forever if you wanted to. Nobody does it.
UNLESS, it is a classic like a Skyline GT-R, Silvia K's, Fairlady, etc.
A lot of people were looking at the old cars going "Waaaa! I haven't seen one of these in years!"
The star of the show was the Bosch hologram. Everybody was in awe.
The Gran Turismo 5 rigs were cool as hell.

OK, I snickered.

There were lots of girls, and I took pics of them..but this girl was my favorite.

Of course, like any other big event in Japan, the right wingers were outside preaching Japanese nationalism, anti-Korean and anti-Chinese BS. Nobody was listening.
