In all seriousness, I'll still give it a viewing. It has all the looks of a bomb, but a good one at that. But yeah, if all the unintentional humor is forced, it never works.

Yeah, I never understand how movies that are intentionally being bad is supposed to be funny. The funny thing about movies like Plan 9 From Outer Space or Coven is that they are really bad, but done in earnestness. The only person that ever seems to pull off the intentionally bad movie thing is Christopher Guest with shows like Waiting For Guffman or Best In Show, but even then it's a slightly different format than say a self aware over-the-top film like Machete.

If the jokes work, the premise works. I know what you are referring to, "movies" like epic movie, another teen movie, and other of its ilk...but (as I know you would also agree to an extent that):

Airplane
KFMovie
Dumb and Dumber
Naked Gun

and others work well because the jokes aren't solely based on pop references and the jokes are actually funny.

And I completely agree that there is a HUGE difference between a low budget movie with heart and just some ol' bullshit trying to be bad (the only bboy album I don't love is some ol' bullshit).
