Cleveland’s Classic Console & Arcade Gaming Show

Following up on our visit to Cleveland’s Video Game Connection, I thought I would also pass along a video visit to the area’s classic gaming convention, the CCAG.

I didn’t get to stay the whole day, but I was able to browse all the tables, talk to a bunch of people, pick of some classic gaming magazines and a few other goodies.   I was just bummed that I didn’t bring more cash with me.

There was quite a variety of items and the prices were quite appealing.   Again, I haven’t seen a show like this in my native Michigan, so it was quite a treat for me.  Hope you enjoy the video!

  • The Price of Admission remains the same low $2.00 for Adults and $1.00 for kids 12 and under.

I’d love to see something like this come to Indianapolis!

CurlyPaul says:

Yeah I wish we had something like this in the UK

Eddie says:

Only 200 or so show up every year? Pretty weak Cleveland. That looks like a lot of fun. I like the Battletoads mod as well.

Optic_ghost says:

Actually, this was pretty fun and the turn out was good. Perhaps it’ll be a bit larger next year?

Loogs says:

Wow, one of my favorite writers on classic videos games is in my presence and I wasn’t even aware?! Would have loved to chat games with you for a few minutes RacketBoy! Your guides are pretty much the reason I seek out those “hidden gems” and go to conventions like this.

Hope you found some good stuff bro, I made out like a bandit each time this year! I’m the bastard who won both NES Mystery Cart #1 at the beginning of the year AND #2 last month. I was feelin’ the hate…

Something like this needs to come to Chicagoland somwhere.

GoGoSunie says:

I’m a Clevelander and didn’t even know about this (sad)….hopefully there will be one next year because I’ll have my eyes open this time
