Xenocider Kickstarter (new 3D shooter for Dreamcast)

Hi guys. It's been quite a while since my last visit.

As you may already know, physical copies are sold out on our store, but there are still some available on PixelHeart, Dragonbox and others.

If you are interested in legally downloading it as a CDI file to use it in your GDemu or MODE, digital editions are available here:

A remastered, HD version of the game is coming to modern platforms next year. You can try a new demo on Steam:

Also, VideoGames New York is producing a new physical run, with new cover artwork in their usual reversible US/JP style. This is of course licensed by our team and we are really looking forward to it

Last but not least, while we keep working on the last bunch of assets for the remaster, we are also in the early stages of our next project, which will be multiplatform (yes, including Dreamcast) if things go well.

Hello everyone. It's been a while!

I thought it would be nice to find this old thread and finally give it an update. After Xenocider reached the 5th place of The Dreamcast Junkyard's Top 25 Dreamcast indie games, we received a few inquiries about where our game can be acquired... so here's a useful bunch of links for those of you still interested.

Xenocider Digital Edition is available from our store and includes an image file of the game (in a variety of formats) that you can burn to a disc, play on GDemu and whatnot.
A Deluxe Digital Edition is also available, featuring the game booklet and complete OST.

Now, if you'd like to own a copy of a brand new edition with ridiculously cool looking cover art, our friends at VideoGamesNewYork got you covered. Go give their store a look while you're at it!

Collectors interested in finding a copy of our original physical run can still get their hands on it here, and here for the Special Edition, courtesy of DragonBox Shop.

Physical copies of both editions are also available at PixelHeart. Naturally. Standard edition here, Special Edition here (only a few left in stock, apparently).

So, as we like to remind followers and collectors on our social media profiles from time to time, please don't buy overpriced copies from Ebay resellers, or unauthorised Aliexpress bootlegs. There's simply no need. We offer an easy, legal way to download our game. Support indie devs and legit stores when you can. Xenocider is still on sale, out there.

God, I'm having a hard time justifying ONE copy though, just cause I've been spending so much on games lately

Have you guys ever thought of releasing on newer X86 console hardware or is certification process too much?

Congrats on the success of this one over the years! Amazing to see what the Dreamcast scene has become since I bought one at launch in '99

Also, big fan of retro indie devs offering an option to purchase ROM/ISO. Kudos there.
