Sega Saturn discs are beautiful. They are a form of art!

Each disc just seems so unique in their own way. More so than any other console I've seen.

Here's Contra:

Now you see what I mean? I just love how they look! Thank you sega. I'm fine with disc only! What are some of your favorites?

Amen! I love the disc art on all the working design games like Albert Odysee and Magic Knight Rayearth! They are absolutely stunning. I have no boxes to any of my games, but the discs themselves make up for it. I also love the artwork for Panzer Dragoon Saga's disc art. Simple, but very pretty!

They're ok I guess lol! Sega Saturn game discs that I can recall liking the disc art from my own personal library:
X-Men: COTA
SFA2
SF Collection (Disc 2 only)

Though I must admit, having recently found myself a copy of JPN version of Panzer Dragoon, I was actually quite surprised at the amazing quality art on the disc. Looks phenomenal.

I remember liking the Panzer Dragoon Saga discs. I think it was my first multi-disc game and so seeing different characters on the discs was something I thought was interesting.

Fun fact about those Working Designs games: one of their practices was to make discs with several different designs, so one copy of Magic Knight Rayearth might look different from someone else's. I think there are something like seven variations of that disc. (Though I'm not sure if they did that for Iron Storm and Sega Ages.)

I've never heard of anyone who's hardcore enough to actually collect all the variants though!

I've always felt that Jp art in general for games are heads above most any other art I've seen on any optical media. US Saturn is a little on the meh side for me.

As most of you already know, Working Designs was the absolute king of great disc art!

Plus they had a ton disc art variants for each release! They really did love the stories they told and their fans!
