Heck yeah, I've loved The Avalanches since I first heard Frontier Psychiatrist on the radio 20+ years ago. When I first heard Wildflower, I didn't like it as much as Since I Left You since it's pretty different, but I've warmed up to it a lot and now it's my favorite of their albums. Glad they got over their "16 years between albums" phase!

I really enjoy this track off their EP from before Since I Left You released. I'm probably eventually going to add some vocals to it if I can ever find some to fit.

Here's a song I just made, "Jon's Theme". I sampled a nigerian disco track and then dropped a rare dj shadow scratchapella I had that fit it perfect. My friend Jon might get it played in some clubs around Dallas which would be really cool.

I love the director John Waters, and saw his movie Polyester in theatres. There was a scene with a psychiatrist talking to a mom about her kid, and she goes like "but surely expulsion is not the answer!" and I had an oh shit moment when I realized I found the entire intro sample.

Recently got into the Doctor Who audio dramas on Big Finish. Mostly stuck to the free stuff, like the 9th Doctor story The Lichyrwick Abomination and some excepts and first parts of stories. Currently listening to Out of Time, a three-part series of stories pairing the 10th Doctor with their past selves, first with the 4th Doctor fighting Daleks in a transdimensional cathedral. I'm currently on the second part, where the 10th and 5th Doctors battle Cybermen in an alternate 1940s Paris. The next one has the 10th and 6th Doctors facing Weeping Angels.

Currently listening to Doctor Who: Short Cuts Volume 4. I listened to 3 a bit ago and the first two last week. I also listened to I, Davros ages ago, which serves as a prequel devoted to the life of the creator of the Daleks.

Last night I saw Siiickbrain, grandson, Knocked Loose, and Bring Me the Horizon.

I liked Siiickbrain. Bmth was really good. Better than when I saw them last.

Nobody, because it isn’t after Thanksgiving, yet, and we’re not horrible people.

My local Food Lion literally didn't even wait until the day after like I did when it came to their Christmas products. And it's not the horrible people who break out their Christmas media the day after Halloween. They're too busy waiting until the last minute to buy ties and dollar store toys for the people on their list.
