NIN has been on fire lately. Add Violence was probably my least favorite of the latest EP trilogy (Not the Actual Events slaps), but it's still a very cool release nonetheless. Only song I don't care for much is The Lovers. That's gotta be one of my least fav NIN tracks... and Im somewhat obsessed. Trent and Deftones tbh.

Now Playing:

Buddy of mine recently got me into Protest The Hero. They are a prog metal band out of Canada. I've been listening to their Volition album alot over the last few weeks.

So I've taken to listening to Van Paugam live streams at work (he's in youtube). He plays City Pop 24/7 over footage of a drive around tokyo. It's super chill and relaxing.

Would recommend to anyone who has heard and enjoyed Mariya Takeuchi - Plastic Love

Gonna have to give this a try. Tokyo by car is the least interesting view of the city, but it's still Tokyo!

I like listening to "smooth jazz" while working. I can't listen to anything with words because it messes up my concentration. Jazz, at a low volume (just for background), I find perfect. Co-workers have commented that it seems classy.

My go-to was this really long YouTube generated playlist comprised of jazz covers of video game music (a lot of video game music is already very jazz to begin with). Well, the channel that had the first video in that playlist was deleted and that broke the playlist. I can still listen to The Consouls, InsaneInTheRainMusic, and Super Soul Bros still since they all have their own playlists. But this playlist I had combined those, plus a huge array of others A lot of them one-off covers and not channels. Luckily, I had converted the first 50 or so songs to mp3 for my own enjoyment. That said, I guess I could recreate the playlist on my channel. I think most of the videos are still up.

Anyways, since that playlist broke, my new go-to for work has been: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcThrAU ... cThrAU9yLk

Most of the videos on that list are several hours long, so that playlist can usually last me all week!
