Yes! You have regular shoot'em up threads on this forum! Whenever I fnid the time I'm definitely going to join in on this one, it's a shame I missed STGT 2015 but this will have to do until next year. When playing alone I don't get much done when it comes to shmups but when playing for high score together with other people it's the best. Count me in!

I started playing Raiden tonight and damn, this game is hard! I finally managed to make a good starting run with the following score:

I've totally forgot how fun it is to play shooters for points. Normally I wouldn't care so much but when others are playing and competing for the same thing every avoided bullet feels so much more different, I love it!

Has anyone figured out if there is a pattern to the blue monsters you can pick up? They just seem to randomly spawn from boxes and currently it feels more like luck than anything else. At least the fairies seems to be at the same spots every time.

Never really gave this game a proper go, but really liking it so far. really like how wide the playing field scrolls, but yeah, hard as balls.

i forgot how unrelenting the old school shmups are that don't give you invincibility for a moment when you bomb to save you when you get stuck in a corner.

the music for stage one is badass as well

I was sooo close to finally doing both stage 1 and 2 in one life but I just had to die during the last second of the boss fight which took away a ton of points for me. Got a first try on the third boss and I think I got pretty far during the fight anyway.
