Soft mod the Wii and get Illvelo. Seriously one of my favorite shmups.

List updated to include Virtual Console releases. I hope this will be of some help to fans and newcomers to the genre. As always, please let me know if you notice any games missing from the list that belong there

One last check-in on the Wii (bump) but really great job on the first post. I doubt these will ever make their way to the WiiU VC but I did a double take on the TG16 WiiVC list:
