Spent some time on this the other day. Broke 21 billion, and reached Stage 4; holy hell, this game is punishing.

Hm. Well since this is in my now playing list... I've had the game for years, but only recently giving it the attention it so deserves. And trying, somewhat, to work the scoring system correctly. SO close to the 12th digit...

damn dude. good job. I can only score that well if I fudge the GHB recovery time. I usually pull my memory card out for score runs so that I know everything is at defaults.

Thanks. It's all about keeping big Chain Combos going as long as possible (easier said than done)... On average, I'm usually at about 4billion after stage 1...30billion after stage2... Stage 3, I just concentrate on survival, and if that goes well, the chains come good enough. 65+billion at this point is pretty decent, currently... Stage 4, still a work in progress... :wink:

As for default settings...Arcade Mode keeps the Special Options settings at default automatically. GHB gauge, combo time, etc. only work in Elite Mode, and the game keeps those scores separate.

I'll be damned, I never realized those settings didn't affect arcade mode. I just fired it up to check, and sure enough, the GHB charge speed setting made no difference in arcade mode. good to know!
