And also aren't Treasure working on a new game for the XBLA? The guy who runs the company (can't remember his name) said they are working on a game that isn't a regular shooter and isn't a successor to Ikaruga...but then when they made Ikaruga it wasn't supposed to be a sequel either (and it is still called Project RS2 by Treasure).

I highly doubt we'll see Saturn games on VC. Saturn is hell to emulate, and then we have the problems with space on the Wii.
Yes, I know there are TG-CD games and large Neo Geo games, but I believe they are generally much smaller than your average Saturn games. Wii storage issues are already dire as it is, it would be compounded by Saturn sized games (even when compressed).

As for Treasure, from a bunch of interviews this is what we can expect from them iirc:
Bangai-O: Spirits (DS)
Ikaruga (XBLA)
Action Team Untitled Game (Wii)
Shooter Team Untitled Game (360/XBLA... Not sure which it's supposed to be)

And prolly some more Bleach fighters

I really hope Treasure's unannounced 360 title is a full retail game myself.

It will come in time. They have a lot of other stuff going on. The important thing is to purchase Ikaruga when it comes out to show support for such projects.

The 360 is really a shooter haven - both 2D and FPS.

I heard the codes for many of the original saturn games were lost, i.e. the panzer dragoon series. Maybe that is one of the reason why it is so hard to do port or remake of these old games. As for emulation, the saturn is one tricky piece of machinery like the GBA. I don't know if it will happen, but I would love to see something like Radiant Silvergun in high def. Screw the collector's value of the game, even though I own it. The more shmups exposure to the general public the better I say. That is the purpose of gaming, to be played dammit!!!

They used the code of the PC version for that and the PS2 port.
