There are 7 stages in Giga Wing!

(6 normal stages, plus a 7th stage with the TLB if you beat the first 6 in one credit.)

Are there really? Are stages 5 and 6 essentially just bosses?

I remember there being very few actual stages in that one, but it has been a while since I've given it a spin.

I really can't wait to give it another spin (literally, in the DC) when it comes in December.

If I wanted to get into SHMUPS now I would start with Blazing Lazers. Great compile shooter for beginners.
