Excellent game! I needed a bit of a kick to play my ps2 version againm I'll fire it up and join in.

I'll be playing the gamecube version and I'll get started on it tomorrow. Any known differences?

What I Know Is:

-the closer you are to an enemy when you kill them, the more they're worth (2x-8x).
-grazing bullets increases your shot power.
-each coin is worth more than the one before it (until you die and start the chain over?).
-there's no penalty for bombing.
-max bombs you can hold is 5.
-you get an extra bomb every time you lose a life or hit an extend.
-extend is at 400M (not sure thereafter).

...hash, what are you doing to maximize your score so much. You nearly doubled my score in less stages.

I'm grazing as many bullets as I can. I try to time my bullet grazing with the destruction of more powerful enemies to maximize my score. I'm not getting past 2-2, though, so you've got one over on me.

I am still learning this game, but grazing bullets seems to be key.

1B? Haha, I definitely have some serious catching up to do here.

You're def playing way riskier than I am. And that's probably why I'm making it further. When I first got into this game it was before I understood playing for score. I used to only play shmups for survival. So it's like this year playing Shikigami is like totally re-learning the entire game y'know?

So your spinning shield captures all coins or only coins that were first killed by the spinning shield?

First run in forever was 200mil, so will do a few more here to get rolling.
